I remember the Azaria story like it was yesterday. A young family camping in the Aussie outback. A cry in the night. A mother accused of the most unspeakable crime.
Now part of our national story – and shame – everyone had an opinion on what happened to baby Azaria that night in August 1980 at what back then was still called Ayers Rock. And most of them damned Lindy Chamberlain.
